If you are looking for sheet music for “The Music and the Mirror” from A Chorus Line, the closest match in this list is the Kindle edition titled The Music And The Mirror Sheet Music. The other listings are Michael Jackson songbooks or a CD labeled as having no sheet music, so they are not substitutes for the musical-theater song. Check the Kindle product details and preview before buying to confirm its notation format suits your device and needs.

The Music And The Mirror Sheet Music
Best for: Buyers searching specifically for sheet music titled “The Music And The Mirror.” The product name directly matches the requested song title, making this the most relevant listing in this selection. The listing identifies Edward Kleban and Marvin Hamlisch as authors and specifies a Kindle edition.
Choose this if you want the exact title rather than a collection of Michael Jackson arrangements. Because the format is Kindle, review the product description and available preview to verify that it contains the score or notation you expect and can be viewed in a useful format. The supplied listing information does not specify instrumentation, arrangement level, or page layout.
Michael Jackson Number Ones Easy Piano
Best for: Piano players seeking accessible arrangements of Michael Jackson hits. This paperback songbook is arranged by Dan Coates and lists 18 songs, including “Billie Jean,” “Thriller,” “Beat It,” “Man in the Mirror,” and “Smooth Criminal.” Lyrics and chord symbols are also identified in the product name.
This is a relevant alternative if your search for “the music and the mirror” was intended to find “Man in the Mirror.” It is not sheet music for “The Music and the Mirror” from A Chorus Line. Avoid choosing it if you need that specific musical-theater number or an arrangement for an instrument other than piano.
Michael Jackson Instrumental Solos For Violin
Best for: Violinists looking for arrangements of Michael Jackson songs. The paperback book is described as part of the Pop Instrumental Solos series and lists 12 songs, a play-along CD, and a level range of 2–3 for instrumentalists.
Choose this for violin performance practice, not for piano or vocal sheet music for “The Music and the Mirror.” The product title does not list the song “Man in the Mirror,” so confirm the contents if that particular Michael Jackson song is your goal. Its stated instrument focus makes it a poor match for buyers seeking a general songbook.
Michael Jackson E-Z Play Today #73
Best for: Keyboard, organ, and piano keyboard players who want a Michael Jackson collection with note names printed in the noteheads. The paperback songbook is described as containing 15 hit songs and lyrics.
This may suit buyers who need a keyboard-oriented format with note-name assistance. It is not identified as the A Chorus Line song, and the product name does not state that it includes “Man in the Mirror.” Check the contents before ordering if you need a particular track; choose another listing if you need the exact musical-theater title.
Mirror CD, Audio Only
Best for: Buyers who want an audio item titled “Mirror,” rather than printed or digital notation. The listing specifically says “CD only – no sheet music,” which is the key distinction for anyone comparing it with a score.
Do not choose this product if you need sheet music, lyrics, or a playable notation file. The supplied information does not identify it as the song “The Music and the Mirror,” so the title alone is not enough to establish that it contains the desired musical-theater recording.
Buying Guide: How To Choose The Right Listing
Do you need the exact song or a similar title?
Match the full song title before comparing format or instrument. “The Music and the Mirror” and “Man in the Mirror” are different song titles. Of the listings here, only the Kindle product uses the exact requested title. The Michael Jackson piano collection names “Man in the Mirror,” while the other Michael Jackson products are broader instrumental or keyboard collections.
Which format and instrument do you need?
- For the exact title, check the Kindle listing’s preview and format information before purchase.
- For easy-piano arrangements and lyrics, consider the Number Ones paperback.
- For violin, compare the violin solo book’s stated level and play-along CD details.
- For keyboard note-name notation, review the E-Z Play Today listing.
- For audio only, the Mirror CD listing explicitly excludes sheet music.
What should you verify before ordering?
Confirm the song title, instrument, arrangement, and delivery format in the product details. The provided information does not establish the exact instrumentation or layout of the Kindle score. For the songbooks, verify that the table of contents includes the song you want; a collection’s general theme does not guarantee a specific track is included.
